Mini-Fete at the Classic Vehicle Day
Come join us at the fantastic Classic Vehicle Day, Sunday 19th September!
As you know, the Fete is joining forces with the lovely folks at the Classic Vehicle Day for this year with the following activities:
- a full Produce stall
- the hotly contested Cake Competition – Swiss Rolls this year!*
- our famous BBQ stall
- our usual Raffle
*For anyone wanting to enter the Cake Competition, please drop your entry (with you name on the base) at the Produce stall by 11.30am. Entries will be judged and winners announced at Midday.
COULD YOU HELP?
We are still looking for a few helpers for the day – in all areas – so please get in contact with me if you are able to help anywhere, even for an hour. It’s a great way to meet your neighbours and support a good cause.
Also, we would just love any donations you could make to the Produce stall. Just drop them up at the start of the day at 11am:
Not just cakes but any type of:
- baked goods (biscuits, slices, bread – sweet or savoury)
- preserves (jam, chutney, pickles, preserved produce)
- plants
- home grown produce
As you can imagine, the local charities we normally support have not received any assistance this last year and a half because of the pandemic, so please dig deep and support us on the 19th!
