Annual Parish Meeting

The annual parish meeting usually takes place in May, in the clubroom.

The meeting is organised by the Parish Council and is an opportunity for all villagers to hear from the Parish Council and the different village organisations, such as the allotments, neighbourhood watch, charities and committees.

The meeting is also attended by our West Berkshire councillor(s) who address issues and update us on WBC plans.

We also have a speaker who gives a presentation on a local topic and these are varied and interesting.  Past topics include Tutts Clump cider, a local beekeeper, old photographs of Frilsham, the AONB, West Berkshire Brewery, environmental monitoring of the river Pang, GM crops and many more.  It is amazing how the Parish Council always manage to find someone new and interesting.

The evening ends with nibbles and wine and lots of socialising and the opportunity to buttonhole the councillors and ask questions of the speaker.
