Sunday 11th November – 9.25 a.m.

Remembrance Service at St Frideswide, Frilsham

The annual Service of Remembrance will take place at St Frideswide Church on Sunday 11th November at 9:25 a.m.

This Sunday is also the 100th aniversary of the end of the First World War and many villages across the country have organised special events.

Locally our churches will be ringing their bells at 12.30 p.m. to coincide with the end of the Cenotaph Service when Churches throughout the country will be doing the same.

The Cold Ash Parish Heritage Group has an exhibition "Men of the Cold Ash Memorials" that can be seen in the Fisher Room alongside St Marks Church, Cold Ash, on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th November between 12 and 5 p.m.

On Saturday 10th November there will be a commemorative concert at 3 p.m. in St Marks Church, Cold Ash, which will feature music, songs and words of World War I.
