Frilsham Yattendon Bridge Closed This Weekend
We have just been advised that the bridge over the motorway between Frilsham and Yattendon will be closed this weekend. Here are the details we've been given by WBC. However the bridge wasn't actually closed on Saturday or Sunday. In fact there wasn't any sign of any work going on there at all!
Road Closure: Yattendon to Frilsham Road, 0600 Saturday 14th to 0600 Monday 16th October.
The unnamed road between Yattendon and Frilsham/Bucklebury will be closed, as above, this weekend. Although advertised until 0600 on Monday it is hoped the closure will be finished earlier.
Closure is at the M4 overbridge and is so that Highways England can carry out preparatory works prior to the renewal of the bridge deck joints.
Diversion will be via Coach Hill, Hatchets Lane, Brocks Lane and Everington Lane.

This is the first of a number of closures related to this project, details will be circulated shortly. Circulation of this closure has been delayed whilst the works programme has been finalised by Highways England.
