live from 1st September

Frilsham village has a new website!  After much deliberation, debate and learning we are delighted to officially announce that the new website is live from 1st September at
www.frilsham.org.uk

The site aims to provide local residents and visitors with up to date information about what’s happening in the village with pages on events, Clubroom, local walks, the Parish Council and the many useful resources that are available to Frilsham residents.  It also covers the dozen or more local organisations and activities that go on in and around our village and features a calendar of events on the home page to keep everyone up to date with what’s happening in our village.  The home page also includes up to date news and alerts.

We’ve tried to give the new website a fresh look, with lots of easy to access information to reflect our vibrant and friendly community.  It’s at the same web address as the earlier Frilsham site, and we’re grateful to Simon de Jongh for creating and hosting that first site for the last few years.  The new site has been given funding by the Parish Council for hosting and the template.  Volunteers Helen Crome, Bob and Shirley Lyon, Helen Pratt, Sandra Wilkinson, Christine Kettlewell and Tessa Allum have all been involved in working on frilsham.org.uk in various ways.

Frilsham.org.uk will continue to develop over the coming months, and the website team would value feedback and suggestions on ways the website can be usefully developed for benefit of local people and visitors.  To provide feedback please email future@frilsham.org.uk
